Steel Welding in Roll Production

Welding Process:

  • Arc Welding (TIG/MIG): Occasionally used for thicker cords or specialty applications.

Heat Treatment: After welding, the joints are heat-treated to relieve stresses and restore the mechanical properties of the steel.

Surface Coating: Steel cords are often coated with brass or zinc to improve corrosion resistance
